Founder and Managing Partner, Skopós
Kevin Koster is founder and Managing Partner of Skopós, a brand refining and value building
practice based in Kansas City, Missouri.
A 35-year marketing veteran known for helping small and mid-sized business clients achieve tens of millions in annual, profitable growth, Kevin believes that unless you deal with livestock, there is no such thing as “branding.” Real brand is an experience, created by a business from the inside out starting with purpose (skopós) and people; not something a traditional ad agency does
from the outside in with logos and websites.
Kevin is one of a handful of professionals certified and licensed on the Value Builder System, a step-by-step process that helps businesses increase their market value an average of 71%. Skopós is the first marketing firm in the country to integrate business value growth strategy into its clients’ brand strategies and strategic planning. Skopós not only helps clients double, triple and
even quintuple sales, it has helped clients turn a 50% increase in profit into a 150% increase in
value within two years.
Kevin has been a workshop presenter at Global Entrepreneurship Week, the annual Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program Retreat, as well the NetStandard Small Business Luncheon Series, Accelerent Kansas City, Bank of Blue Valley, and WaterFront Wealth Advisors.
He has served on the boards of Holy Rosary Credit Union, Sleepyhead Beds, CORE, and the Kansas City Club. Kevin was appointed to the Mayor’s Special Airport Terminal Task Force and was recognized by The Pitch as their 2013 Best Blogger for his work on the terminal discussion.
